1. Introduction

This guide is intended to assist NoahFace users with the process of setting up Temperature Screening with NoahFace using the wall mounted UFR101 Bluetooth forehead thermometer:

  • Time and Attendance. Employees are screened for elevated temperatures as part of the process of clocking-on for work.
  • Access Control. Employees are screened for elevated temperatures as part of the entry process into secure areas.
  • Visitor Registration. Visitors are screened for elevated temperatures before entering your place of work.

It is important to note that while a temperature test cannot determine if a person is infected with a virus (such as COVID-19), it can identify people who have elevated temperatures. A screening process can therefore be used to either deny access to these people (to reduce risk) or to suggest to these people that they might seek a clinical test.
