2. Adding an Access Point Type

Instructions

Select the Access Points menu and then the Access Point Types tab, and then press the +
Add access point type button. Set the following options:

  • Name. Set this to “Visitor Registration”.
  • Platform. Set to “Kiosk”.
  • User consent. Leave this switch on to allow users to consent to using facial recognition. Turn it off to disable facial recognition altogether.
  • Screen type. Set this to "Visitor Registration”.
  • Screen timeout. This controls the timeout after which the NoahFace App will automatically return to the home screen. The default time of 20 seconds is generally sufficient, but you can adjust it as desired.
  • Sensor. If you are planning to screen visitors for elevated temperatures, you should select “Temperature Sensor” and set your thresholds and messages as appropriate.

You can further configure visitor registration screen by specifying options within the Screen details field. The options available are explained in detail in this Setup Guide. Also see:

Most importantly, note that if you are specifying multiple options, you need to comma separate the options. We also recommend laying out your options one per line for ease of reading. For example:

Note: The Manual Use option is not used for Visitor Registration and can be ignored.
