Normal Day mode

This is the mode for your weekly bell timetable (Monday-Friday)
When turned ON your weekly bells will ring as per the programmed timetable

Interviews mode

To be used for your school's Parent/Teacher interview days. This mode has been programmed to ring as per your Interview requirements.

How to activate INTERVIEWS mode:

1. Turn the NORMAL DAY switch OFF
2. Turn the INTERVIEW mode switch ON. You can turn INTERVIEW mode ON any time in the day before your interviews start.
3. Wait until the final bell indicating the end of the final interview rings.  
4. You can now turn the INTERVIEW mode OFF
5. Turn the NORMAL DAY switch ON

PLEASE NOTE : The main screen will only ever show the next NORMAL DAY bell time even when the NORMAL DAY mode is turned OFF and the INTERVIEWS mode is turned ON.

Lockdown mode

Alert mode for the event of a School Lockdown event.

When activated your school bells will ring in a continuous ON/OFF pattern to alert a School Lockdown Event.

How to activate Lockdown mode:

1. Turn the LOCKDOWN switch to ON
2. You can now step away from the AutoBell programmer and the Lockdown bells will continue ringing.
3. Once the Lockdown event is over, turn the LOCKDOWN switch to OFF

PLEASE NOTE : the current mode will be overridden when the LOCKDOWN mode is activated.

The ON/OFF lockdown pattern is easy for staff and students to differentiate from an Evacuation Event which is simply a continuous ring ON. All AutoBell school users have an ON/OFF ring pattern for their school lockdown.

Each school may however have a very slightly different ON/OFF ring duration. For example 5 seconds ON and 5 seconds OFF, or 4 seconds ON and 4 seconds OFF, etc.

Evacuation mode

Alert mode for the event of a School Evacuation event.

When activated your school bells will ring continuously until the EVACUATION switch is turned OFF

How to activate Lockdown mode:

1. Turn the EVACUATION switch to ON (your bells will ring continuously)
2. You can now step away from the AutoBell programmer and the Lockdown bells will continue ringing.
3. Once the Evacuation procedure is over turn the EVACUATION switch to OFF

Ring Bell

Manual push button for ringing your school bells.

The RING BELL button can be pressed at any time to ring all school bells.

This will override the NORMAL DAY and INTERVIEWS modes
